Unless you live under a rock, then you know how popular kBeauty is in the world today. From fun face masks to 10-step skincare routines, Korean makeup and skincare have definitely been making waves. I’m not too big on kBeauty, but lately I’ve been really curious about some Korean skincare products. Luckily, Korean products are easily accessible in the Philippines, and we also have Althea! Althea is an online kBeauty shop that ships products from Korea to the Philippines. In this post, I’ll be sharing my small haul from Althea.
Two things I’ve been extremely curious about are the Elizavecca Milky Piggy Hell-Pore Clean Up Mask and the Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask. The Hell-Pore Clean Up Mask (Php 500) is a peel-off mask, and it’s supposedly really painful to remove. It’s supposed to pull out impurities such as blackheads and sebum (and it will probably pull out peach fuzz as well), leaving your skin smooth and clear. The Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask (Php 550) is a clay mask that bubbles up after 5-10 minutes. It’s supposed to unclog pores and leave the skin feeling tight and clean.
I know I keep my daily skincare routine pretty basic, but I thought I would add a serum into the mix. Licorice and Salicylic Acid go really well together, and since Salicylic Acid is pretty much the foundation of my routine, I wanted a serum that would complement it well. This is why I purchased the It’s Skin Power 10 Formula LI Effector (Php 390). It’s a brightening serum that evens out your skin tone and fades dark spots. This isn’t something I really have a problem with, but it’s also hydrating and soothing, so I thought, “Why not?”
Lastly, I’ve been having problems with my elbows. Because of consistent yoga practice, my elbows are looking a little worse for wear. The friction between my elbows and the mat have caused them to become rough and extremely dry. This is why I decided to get the Koelf Callus Care Elbow Patch (Php 200). I haven’t heard a lot about it. In fact, I only found it because I typed “elbow” onto Althea’s search bar. I’m hoping that his elbow mask solves all my dry skin problems.
And that’s it for my haul! I didn’t buy a lot, but I’m happy with what I got, and I’m excited to try them all out. I found that a lot of the products were affordable, and shipping is free if you go above Php999 (which is really easy to do). Hope you enjoyed this post!
