My Everyday Makeup Routine

Doing my everyday makeup look is pretty much all muscle memory for me now. If I tried, I’m sure I could do it with my eyes closed (okay, maybe not, but you know what I mean!). For this post, I thought I would share the makeup that I use to create my everyday face. It’s a pretty simple routine that leaves me looking fresh, clean, and glowy (I use a lot of highlighter).

Since I’m using a mineral powder foundation, I like to conceal first. I use my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 25 Medium to conceal my dark circles, pimples, and redness. I set that concealer with my Laura Mercier Translucent Powder. I like to set my concealer before applying mineral powder because I find that the foundation looks less patchy over the parts of my face that I’ve concealed. I use the Laura Mercier Mineral Powder as my foundation. I love it because it’s such lazy way to get a flawless base. I bronze and contour my cheeks and nose with my Benefit Hoola Bronzer, and I add color to my cheeks with my NARS Blush in Gina. It’s a peachy-orange shade, and I think it makes me look really healthy and fresh. For my highlight, I like to mix 3 different highlighters. A little excessive, I know, but highlighting is my absolute favorite step because of how it can really transform the face. I mix my MAC Mineralized Skin Finish in Soft & Gentle with the shades White Sand and Golden Dawn from my Anastasia Ultimate Glow Kit. This makes my face look really bright and gold.

For my brows, I use my Anastasia Brow Powder Duo in Granite. I already have really dark eyebrows, so I like that the colors in the duo are grey and black since they look more natural on me as compared to brow powders with red and brown undertones. I curl my eyelashes with my Shu Uemura Eyelash Curlers, then I coat them with my Maybelline Lash Discovery Mascara. This mascara has a really thin, tiny brush, and it’s great at separating and lengthening my lashes without making them look unnatural.

For my lips, I usually switch it up depending on my mood, but for now, I like to use my Colourette Lipstick in Sahara. I find it to be really moisturizing, and I love the brown-peachy color. It’s really neutral and extremely easy to wear.
