Here is the third installment of The Modern Renaissance Series. You can find the first two looks I created using my Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette here and here. For this look, I decided to use the more purple shades in the palette to define my eyes.
I started this look with my eyes, and I used the shade Buon Fresco, an antique lavender shade, as an all-over lid base. I applied Antiqued Bronze, a metallic sable shade, on the outer corners and creases of my eyes. I defined the outer V of the eyes using the shade Love Letter, a raspberry shade with a matte finish. I also smudged this shade along my lower lashline, making sure that it didn’t look too neat. I lined my lids using my Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in the shade Vice. I finished off my eye makeup with my Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, then tidied and thickened my brows with my Glossier Boy Brow.
I concealed my dark circles with my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer, and for my base, I used my Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation. This foundation is a bit light on me, so I bronzed my skin using the different bronzers found in the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit. I used the MAC Sweet Sentiment Mineralize Blush to add some color to my face, and then highlighted my cheekbones and nose with the shades Snow and Amber Gold from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Ultimate Glow Kit. Lastly I applied the Yves Rocher Grand Rouge Lipstick in Mauve Subtil onto my lips, keeping with the purple theme.
And that’s it for this glam purple look! Hope you liked it and that you’d want to try it out for yourself!
Your so good at makeup! I love this look!
